Delivering Legal Services Directly to Rural Armenians

Significant segments of Armenia’s population lack access to fundamental legal processes which protect and guarantee their human rights due to high costs and isolated communities. The Rule of Law Initiative is a public service project of the American Bar Association dedicated to promoting rule of law around the world by restructuring laws and legal systems in emerging democracies. Through this Traveling Lawyer Program, law students and attorneys will travel together to isolated regions, provide pro bono legal aid, build public trust and promote human rights. Liana is dedicated to protecting and promoting human rights throughout the world. She has worked in Human Rights protection programs and the Free Legal Aid Center of the Bar Association of the Republic of Armenia.
