Nurturing Kenya’s Culture for National Healing and Reconciliation

 
As general manager for Nairobi’s internationally respected GoDown Arts Centre, Judy is nurturing native artists to enhance their dignity and integrity across Kenya.  Her intention is to stimulate pride and awareness among the artists so their contributions are recognized in their communities and country.  Judy’s vision is a healed country in the wake of Kenya’s 2007 post-election violence, a country proud of its roots and culture.   Her vision is for civic spaces to become enriched and empowered through the growth of the arts, especially through the voices of artists.
